Hotel Review: Belver Beta Porto Hotel, Porto, Norte, Portugal – January 2020 Hotel Review: Belver Beta Porto Hotel, Porto, Norte, Portugal – January 2020 – https://youtu.be/jCqwpA5Qm_o . I’ve just added a new film to my Hotel Reviews: Portugal playlist, here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvGU73l75qxUbA5YZRH6T0Q3VzZOeXhPp of a review of the Belver Beta Porto Hotel, in northern Porto, in the region of Norte, in Portugal, filmed in January 2020. I stayed at the Belver Beta Porto Hotel for 5 nights in January 2020, which cost a bargain 217 Euro on a bed and breakfast basis, which is a very good price indeed. The hotel is located fairly close to Porto Airport, the taxi ride was inexpensive. The hotel’s location is largely in a residential neighbourhood. Unfortunately it is a taxi ride or a long walk from the main touristy areas in central Porto and a 15 minute walk from the Porto Metro. The hotel is quite decent, with nice facilities including a swiming pool, bar and restaurant. I started in room 402, however I had manouverability problems in this room as the toilet in the bathroom was in a very narrow space and I’m currently on crutches due to a knee injury. The rest of the room was fine, but due to my knee injury I had to ask to be moved to an accessible room. The room I moved to, room 210 was much better, it was a much larger and brighter room with a front facing view. The room had a fridge, king-sized bed, double wardrobe, free to use safe, and a fully accessible bathroom with raised toilet and fully open accessible shower. I was very happy in this room, and wish I’d been allocated that room in the first place (I had requested an accessible room). The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the breakfast was available until 11:00, which was great for late risers. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and customer service was excellent. The main downside to this hotel was the distance from it to the city centre, and it is for that reason, and that reason alone that I probably wouldn’t stay here again in future. This film features: views of the outside of the hotel; the reception / lobby; a detailed room inspection of room 402; a detailed room inspection of room 210; the bar; the restaurant; the breakfast buffet, and; the swimming pool.
