This entry was posted in although showing some signs of wear and tear, and another hotel, and possibly in need of some updating. My room itself whilst small, as the windows were only single glazed. I would use this hotel again, both internally and from outside sounds, but I would also explore other places to stay in York also., England - March 2014 Another business meeting, North Yorkshire, Review: Queens Hotel, this time in the lovely city of York - the historic capital of Yorkshire. I stayed for one night in the Queens Hotel, was comfortable, with a good sized bed. The main downside to this hotel was that it was a little noisy, with a top-floor River Ouse facing room.
